There's a very nice review of Fourtold here. I likes a satisfied customer. If there's anyone out there who fancies a signed/personalised copy of the hardback or paperback, I'll do my best to oblige them. I doubt I can beat Amazon on price, though. :) |

| Scalzi vs Black Matrix |

You’ve probably read and rolled your eyes at that post by John Scalzi on his Whatever blog and the response from Black Matrix, which you can read here, so I don’t mind if you roll your eyes at this mention and move on.
To summarise, Scalzi had a go at Black Matrix for offering writers a pay rate of 1 cent per 5 words, and called upon writers to boycott them. I’ve had a look at a few of the comments on his and Black Matrix’s blog and it seems pretty clear cut to me. John Scalzi and his ilk should keep their gobs shut.
I could, and in all fairness should elaborate, but instead I’ll do that in the comments. I’m interested to see where the writers and artists on my flist stand on this one. |
